Have you ever gone into a bicycle shop just because of the talents of one particular mechanic? And then one day he was gone? Well,this is the shop that the mechanic owns....
It is common practice for the owner not to participate in the day to day mechanical operations of their business. They usually concentrate their efforts on running the sales floor and of course the managerial side necessary to all businesses. A "mechanic" is hired to oversee the repair shop,but due to lack of career opportunities he is apt to move on when something better comes along. The second,third,etc.,mechanic practices what we call 'every man for himself'. This is from the school of 'everybody does it their own way' mechanics. Efficient? No. Consistent? No. Out there? We have a different approach that really sets us apart. My name is Frank Novielli. As the owner of THE BIKE GUY,I spend a major portion of my time in the repair shop working on customers bikes and assembling new ones.
We jokingly consider ourselves a garage with an exotic showroom. Now don't get me wrong,when you walk in it looks like any other normal bike shop,but our repair shop is one of the most detailed,organized layouts you will ever see in a bike shop.
I take knowledge and dedication to a new level. My education is surpassed by very few. I have attended some of the most prestigious bicycle schools in the country,multiple seminars,and kept up with the technical revolution. I have many years experience in bicycle mechanics. I am also a professional race mechanic for The Trail Hogs(Toronto Police Mountain Bike Team)that race at some of the most renowned races in Canada.
Instead of just selling you a cycling related item or service at rock bottom prices,our goal is to overwhelm you with our attention to detailed service and practical,working knowledge. We give you merchandise that functions at it's fullest potential from the beginning. This is the cheapest route in the long run.
Think for a moment about your knowledge. What subject or field are you an expert in? Skiing,fishing,old cars,computers,food,etc. Is the biggest company doing the best job? Is the best advertised product always the best choice? Is the cheapest price really a good deal in the long run?
We are the experts when it comes to bicycles,and our job is to sort it all out for you. Remember,that bike didn't just roll out to you from the manufacturer,there is a middle man. Here's the important question;
